Fireman Creative launched a new website for the Housing Authority of the City of Pittsburgh. The website includes information about housing options and resident services. It also includes applications for landlords to use to list properties that are available throughout the city. Vendors and contractors can use the site to submit bids on procurements. Thanks to everyone who supported the Heritage Seed Co. Kickstarter project. Fireman Creative, alongside Blackberry Meadows Farms, is thrilled to have completed our funding goal! We are now moving forward with this unique project that combines organic food, art, and technology. Fireman Creative produced a 30 minute video for PostSecret that will be shown at an event at Artisphere in Arlington VA on April 2, 2011. The band BlueBrain will play live to the video and PostSecret creator Frank Warren will discuss the project.
The event is a benefit for Hopeline, a charity focused on suicide prevention.

* You are currently majoring in a technology-related field and pursuing a career in software or web development
* You have already completed a number of courses that involve software or web development, mastered basic programming principles, and understand how the web works
* You enjoy writing code, working on web-based projects, and staying up to date with technology
* You have some level of familiarity with CSS, Javascript, PHP, Ruby on Rails, and MySQL
* You understand how SQL is used to interact with databases
* You want to learn more about technologies like jQuery, PHP frameworks, Wordpress, SVN, and unit testing (but experience is not required)
* You have some work experience (freelance or previous internships)
* You want to get work experience in a fast-paced, small-company environment where everyone contributes knowledge and ideas to every project

Fireman Creative launched a website to announce Frank Warren's upcoming PostSecret book entitled "Confessions on Life, Death & God". The new site was developed as a place for PostSecret readers to share their personal stories about how the PostSecret project has touched them.
CEOs for Cities, an organization dedicated to building and sustaining the next generation of great American cities, hosted a special meeting to discuss the stimulus package (American Recovery and Reinvestment Act). This event was streamed live on the web Wednesday, February 25, 2009, powered by Vivo. The archived footage is viewable on the Vivo site.

Fireman Creative completed design of the xstream.me website and multimedia video for its launch with the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA). Featured on the homepage of the CES website, Xstream broadcast live from the convention floor of the international Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, where technology journalist Mario Armstrong (NPR) and media spokesperson Jim Barry (CEA) covered the latest and greatest new products, and answered viewer questions via live chat.
