Cooper Munroe and Emily McKhann, began blogging together in 2004 and created The Motherhood in 2006. We are also working together to create new tools and find better ways to engage audiences and build participation.
Fireman Creative developed TabletTours™ to allow Heartland Homes sales staff to gather buyer information. The Tours are a fun and engaging way for potential buyers to explore Heartland Homes models and learn about featured products.
Using touch enabled hot-spots, the home tours provide information about specific cabinet styles, appliances, flooring, and other options. Potential home-buyers can save their preferences and this information is available to the Heartland Homes sales department.

The Kiski-Conemaugh Water Trail offers 86 miles of paddling along the borders of Armstrong, Indiana, Cambria, Somerset and Westmoreland Counties. Fireman Creative developed a web-based application to enhance the water trail experience by assisting the user in locating river access, restaurants, historical points of interest, bike and hiking trails and more.

Fireman Creative had the exciting opportunity to participate in the United States Small Business Administration's event held at the University of Pittsburgh on March 12th & 13th. Fireman Creative President Paul Fireman participated in the Information Technology and Urban Entrepreneurship panel discussion. The U.S. Small Business Administration is an independent agency of the federal government that works to aid, counsel, assist and protect the interests of small business concerns, and to maintain and strengthen the overall economy of our nation.
For the past year Fireman Creative has been working with Dave Forstate, WQED and Frank Warren to help produce
a PBS special on the Post Secret project. The program is part of a WQED series called Experience and features Fireman Creative as well as great coverage of Donora and Bluebrain.
The creativity and hard work of Chef Kevin Watson, Ty Kerstetter and the Savoy culinary team and bar staff earned Savoy several awards at Savor Pittsburgh, A Celebration of Cuisine! Savoy was awarded the Best Appetizer award for the second year along with the Whirl Magazine People's Choice Award for the second consecutive year.
Chef Watson's winning appetizer was a Chocolate Ravioli filled with Butternut Squash and served with a Lobster Basil and Local Peach Cream Sauce. Savoy was also awarded the Best Happy Hour Food and Best Mojito award for their Dragonberry Mojito. Kerstetter's winning Dragonberry Mojito is made of Bacardi Dragonberry rum, Lablon rum, lime juice and simple syrup, muddle strawberries, limes and mint together, topped with club soda and garnished with a fanned strawberry and a mint sprig.
Congratulations to our client Construction Junction on the great story in the Post-Gazette last weekend! Creative people all over the region renovated their homes and made works of art using repurposed building materials from Construction Junction trying to win tickets to Big Pour 6, their annual beer festival. Here at Fireman Creative, we take the “Just Reuse It” campaign we created for Construction Junction seriously. Most of our furnishings are reused or repurposed. Fireman Creative launched a new website for the Housing Authority of the City of Pittsburgh. The website includes information about housing options and resident services. It also includes applications for landlords to use to list properties that are available throughout the city. Vendors and contractors can use the site to submit bids on procurements. Fireman Creative produced a 30 minute video for PostSecret that will be shown at an event at Artisphere in Arlington VA on April 2, 2011. The band BlueBrain will play live to the video and PostSecret creator Frank Warren will discuss the project.
The event is a benefit for Hopeline, a charity focused on suicide prevention.
