From a technical standpoint, the site is powered by a heavily customized content management system (CMS), that allows Fort Ligonier's staff to easily update content and images. The site also offers e-commerce capabilities. Visitors can purchase Fort Ligonier books and DVDs, as well as join the Fort Ligonier Association or make a donation. Also, an interactive timeline allows users to view important events that occured at the fort.
