Fireman Creative's goal was to build a clean, simple website for the East End Food Co-op. The co-op found that many Pittsburghers were unaware of the co-op or believed you had to be a member/owner to shop there. The new website served as a vehicle to lift the veil that surrounded the co-op and ultimately entice more individuals to experience local foods.


Fireman Creative built the website on top of Wordpress, a content management system, so it's easily maintainable by staff members with no technical knowledge. Each month the co-op features a new food item, vendor, and recipe on their homepage to raise awareness of the great local suppliers of fresh food.
